ARDITI is the Agency for Research, Technological Development and Innovation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, whose mission is to promote and support Research, Technological Development and Innovation

NEXA is the Regional Agency for Development, Investment and Innovation. Its mission is to promotes and supports the island transition toward an ecological, competitive and open economy, notably through innovation. Nexa is in charge of the design and implementation of economic development and research-innovation policies (RIS3) as well as circular economy scheme.

The Collectivité Territoriale de Martinique has made the bet to opt for the path of innovation, among the avenues of development that were open to it. A true Intelligent Specialization Strategy (S3) with an action plan has been developed. It responds to a strong partnership between local authorities, the State and other local authorities to endow Martinique with a concerted policy for innovation.

The regional government - Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane – has direct competences in key areas in the region, such as spatial planning, transport, economic development, professional training, research innovation, youth sport recreation, culture, environment, society and health.

The Regional council of Guadeloupe manage the design and implementation of smart specialisation strategy. In this spirit, it promotes the setup of the network of OR on S3. Regional council of Guadeloupe is in charge of the Research and Innovation local policy and its implementation.

The Collectivité d’Outre-mer of Saint-Martin is a public administration governed by Article 74 of the French Constitution. As a regional authority, the Collectivité of Saint-Martin matches FORWARD project in that, it will be able to bring together local partners to exchange and determine with them the needs and think together on how to develop the R&I system and partnerships, considering the low capacity of the territory in that field.

The regional authority of Mayotte is the main player in the territorial development, its role is to stimulate economic growth by supporting business in different sectors, improve the attractiveness of the territory and firms’ competitiveness.

The University of La Laguna (ULL), located in Tenerife Island in the Canaries, has more than 200 years of history open to the world. With over 23,000 students, more than 1,800 lecturers and 800 administrative and ancillary staff, the ULL offers a wide catalogue of high quality degrees and research programmes ranging from all the humanities to the exact sciences.

The ULPGC, created in the 1989-1990 has university institutes, research centres and 161 research groups covering all fields of knowledge, made up of nearly 1.000 researchers and around 1.000 PhD students.

The Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN) is a joint initiative between the Spanish and the Canary Islands governments, with the support of the European Regional Development Fund. It represents a multipurpose service centre with land-based and sea-based novel infrastructures to support research, technology development an innovation in the marine and maritime sector

The ITC is a public enterprise established by the Government of the Canary Islands in 1992, attached to the Regional Ministry of Economy, Industry, Trade and Knowledge of the Regional Government. The competences of the ITC are framed in the fields of Research, Development and Innovation at a regional level and the nearest African countries.

The IAC is an international research centre. Its research topics include most areas of astrophysics

Throughout its 40 years of existence, UAc has established itself as one of the main pillars of the Azores autonomy and socio-economic development and as a place of excellence for teaching and research on the issues of the Sea, the Atlantic and the insular environments in its different dimensions.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azores operates as a representative for its associates with the objective of defending and promoting the interests of the economic agents of the secondary and tertiary sectors in the Azores, as well as outside its borders.

The University of Madeira (UMa) is a state university established in 1988, organized into 4 faculties and 2 schools: Exact Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities and Health Higher School and Technologies and management Higher School.

The University of Reunion Island is a French public higher education and research institution, located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, one of Europe's outermost regions, off the east coast of Africa close to Madagascar. 12 000 students are admitted every year at six sites.

University of Antilles is also partner in the FORWARD project, being located in the two territories of the French West Indies, Guadeloupe and Martinique.

University of French Guiana is a public establishment for Higher Education and Research.
The research is focused on Amazonian issues

GDI aims to decompartmentalize the economic development and promotion actors with the players of technological innovation, and to be a coordination tool for actions and operational projects throughout the territory.

A cluster of 55 members, Synergile is dedicated to renewable energies, energy management and materials and constructions whose mission is to promote cooperation between business and research, boost future technologies, and support basic and applied research

CCI Sant-Martin is an institution that combines the responsibilities of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Trades and Crafts and Chamber of Agriculture

Consulta Europa is an independent, internationally active think-tank specialized in research, education, innovation projects and territorial development, headquartered in the Canary Islands, a Spanish outermost region located near the Moroccan coast in the Atlantic Ocea
